Differential Chaos Shift Keying-Based Wireless Power Transfer With Nonlinearities

In this paper, we investigate conventional communication-based chaotic waveforms in the context of wireless power transfer (WPT). Particularly, present a differential chaos shift keying (DCSK)-based WPT architecture, that employs an analog correlator at receiver, order to boost energy harvesting (EH) performance. We take into account nonlinearities EH process and derive closed-form analytical expressions for harvested direct current (DC) under generalized Nakagami- $m$ block fading model. show that, framework, both peak-to-average-power-ratio received signal DC, depend on parameters transmitted waveform. Furthermore, case deterministic unmodulated demonstrate absence correlator, modulation does not affect achieved DC. On other hand, it is shown scenarios with correlator-aided DCSK significantly outperforms case. Based observation, propose novel DCSK-based design, which further enhances capability proposed architecture; corresponding DC are also derived. Our results architecture associated can achieve significant gains systems. even by taking transmitter amplifier, waveform performs better terms EH, when compared existing multisine signals.
